Fun Fact: In high school, with the Future Farmers of America Organization (FFA) raised two incredible pigs. 

Why I chose SFBU: Location in the Bay Area, and interest and dedication to ensuring students are priority, supported with tools, resources, motivation, and more. 

How I heard about SFBU: Through the Niche platform to help students search for their ideal School with great tools to make it easily accessible, I read decided that this was the one for me. 

Favorite SFBU Memory: Many great memories including the Fall Retreat, as an amazing experience with all Startup Scholars and College Track students and first camping experience, encouraging me to continue connecting more deeply with nature. 

Outside the Classroom: Listening to music, any genre, as long as it brightens my mood and walks around the campus neighborhood.

Fun Fact:  I’m 50% introvert and 50% extrovert. I enjoy my own space, but I also love spending time with friends and meeting new people. I love playing guitar and rock music. 

Why I chose SFBU: Bay Area’s tech scene while also being near my friends. Exciting Data Analytics courses, and I love my time here.

How I heard about SFBU: Word of mouth, close friend of mine recommended because of the practical classes. 

Favorite SFBU Memory: The SFMoMA trip with my Agility Praxis Pathway class. I really enjoyed getting to experience art outside the classroom because I’ve always had an interest.

Outside the Classroom: I enjoy art and exploring new places, and adore my experiences with my friends because they encourage me grow in ways I could never expect.

Fun Fact/Outside the Classroom: When I'm not coding or working on student governance initiatives, you can usually find me on a multi-day hiking trail exploring national parks or behind a camera capturing urban architecture and natural scenery.

Why I chose SFBU: Vibrant, close-knit community, strong focus on practical computer science education, and prime location in the heart of the Bay Area tech ecosystem, with faculty from industry, making learning relevant. 

How I heard about SFBU:  While searching to transfer, I came across SFBU, looking for schools in the Bay Area, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, featuring a close knit community environment and robust academic-based scholarships as an ideal choice.

Favorite SFBU Memory: Collaborating with incredible peers to plan campus innovation events and connecting with students from all over the world during our campus activities. Among the core memories, I admire how diversity is celebrated here at SFBU.
