San Francisco Bay University is excited to share that we're growing in San José with a new Neighborhood Campus, located within the Center for Employment Training (CET) campus at 701 Vine Street.
With this new campus, we hope to make higher education more accessible by creating space where students, working adults, and families can connect with learning closer to home.
SFBU is exploring how the space will be used, which may include gatherings such as community meetings, student and family engagement, academic and workforce programming, and partnerships with local organizations. The college is listening to community members and conducting a community impact study to better understand local education and workforce needs before determining what programs and services the campus may offer.
In October, we welcomed the first cohort of Student Ambassadors in our MBA Pro+ program, as well as their mentors and a remarkable group of community leaders, to the San José Neighborhood Campus for an evening of discovery, celebration, and community connection.
Community members can join the campus interest list through SFBU’s website to receive updates and hear about future conversations, events and opportunities to participate in the community impact study.
