At SFBU, our faculty are integrating AI into their teaching to enhance student learning and engagement. Professor Pragati Dharmale, M.S., is a Computer Science faculty member and researcher with expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, EEG signal analysis, database systems, and software development. 

In her course titled "Database Implementation and Modeling Techniques," AI is used not as a shortcut, but as a learning partner. Through AI-assisted critique, reflection, and problem-solving activities, students develop stronger database design skills, critical thinking, and the ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated solutions. This approach empowers students to become thoughtful, independent learners while preparing them for real-world professional practice.
