Students must complete a minimum of 36 credits to earn the MBA degree. Twelve credits come from four required courses: Financial Management (3), Strategic Management & Leadership (3), Business Analytics (3) and Business Capstone (3). Students can then customize the remaining 24 credits by selecting 12 degree-specific credits and 12 elective credits.

To qualify for SFBU’s Master of Business Administration program, you must hold an earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Non-native English speakers must demonstrate language proficiency. SFBU does not require GRE or GMAT scores for admission.

Applicants must possess proper quantitative and professional preparation before enrolling in graduate-level coursework:

  • If you lack college-level mathematics, business math or statistics, we recommend taking Introduction to Business Analytics (3 credit hours) as an elective within your 36-credit MBA curriculum.
  • If you have limited professional work experience, we recommend taking Career Development (1 credit hour) as an elective to build essential workplace communication and interview competencies.
