Andrew Hung-Nguyen

Associate Director for Title IX and Equity

Andrew is dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus for all students, faculty, and staff. With a strong commitment to equity and fairness, he works to prevent and address discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct through education, policy enforcement, and compassionate support.

He brings more than 10 years of experience in educational administration, having served in various roles in academic affairs, institutional research, and community enrichment learning programs. Additionally, he has experience leading key initiatives and managing critical projects to support equity and compliance efforts for Title IX, Title VI, and Title VII. Most recently, Andrew served as the Research & Project Manager at San José State University.

Andrew is currently defending his dissertation for a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at San Jose State University. His research focuses on how organizational structure impacts data security. He holds a Master’s degree in Informatics, specializing in cybersecurity and data privacy, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

In his free time, he enjoys K-drama, K-pop, and R&B music and is a huge fan of modern classic cars (from the early 2000s and beyond).
