Bio
Mr. Hari Hirani is a Professor of Business and Technology with extensive experience in enterprise transformation, Agile leadership, and business systems education. He is a proactive and committed educator with a strong background in designing comprehensive lesson plans, developing curriculum, and delivering applied learning experiences that emphasize real-world business and technology integration. His teaching focuses on system analysis, business process improvement, cloud computing, and Agile delivery frameworks.
Mr. Hirani brings deep industry experience from both the public and private sectors. He recently served as an Agile Coach and Enterprise Trainer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where he supported enterprise-wide integrated planning, Lean Portfolio Management initiatives, and the adoption of new operating models through executive coaching and organizational guidance. He has coached and facilitated Agile transformation efforts across dozens of delivery and program teams, led Scrum ceremonies for large-scale technology initiatives, and developed training programs for hundreds of professionals. His work includes maturity assessments, Agile metrics analysis, and the establishment of continuous learning communities of practice.
Previously, Mr. Hirani held leadership roles as an Agile Program Manager and Engineering Program Manager in technology-driven organizations, including Samsung’s Milk Music division, Akitra, Inc., and Nayna Networks, Inc. He has extensive experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration among product, engineering, and business teams, supporting large-scale system rollouts, and championing modern delivery practices such as CI/CD and value stream optimization.
As an academic instructor, Mr. Hirani taught at UC Berkeley Extension, where he instructed students in system analysis and design, applied business process and system analysis, and cloud computing. He developed course curricula, prepared syllabi aligned with learning objectives, evaluated student performance, and supported student engagement through learning management systems and structured feedback. His teaching approach emphasizes applied learning, leadership development, and the practical use of technology to support organizational goals.
