Professor and Chair of Business
Dr. Johnathan Mun is a Professor and Chair of the Business Department with 25 years of industry and academic experience. He has taught at the MBA, M.S., and Ph.D. levels in 10 countries and authored 30 books and 150 academic articles. Dr. Mun holds 13 patents, has consulted for over 50 multinational companies, created 10 software applications, and founded three companies. His research interests include financial analytics, quantitative methods, data science, economics, investment science, simulation, predictive modeling, AI/ML analytics, and optimization.
Cassondra Smith
Professor of Business, Postdoctoral
Cassondra has a diverse background in Business Management, Marketing, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Finance. Cassondra’s expertise includes Supply Chain management, Consumer Behavior, and Cost Accounting. Cassondra’s research interest focuses on consumerism, marketing analytics, consumer behavior, and the fiscal implications of misaligned U.S. apparel sizing standards. Cassondra has over 20 years of professional business experience and 15 years of instruction experience across primary and tertiary education.

Pepe Adriazola, MBA
Jose F. Adriazola (Pepe) is an instructor and industry practitioner with over two decades of professional experience spanning operations management, logistics, entertainment & arts business, entrepreneurship, digital marketing analytics, brand strategy, and creative business development. He has taught at COOP–Google, SAE Expression College, and San Francisco State University, where he developed curriculum and delivered instruction in branding, entrepreneurship, digital marketing analytics, and business strategy for the entertainment, multimedia arts, and startup industries.
Michael Aquilina, MBA
Mr. Michael Aquilina is a seasoned high-technology executive and business educator with more than 30 years of industry experience and over 20 years of teaching experience at colleges and universities in the Bay Area. His professional background spans business, finance, marketing, statistics, and technology-driven organizations, with a strong emphasis on product marketing, e-commerce strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
Flora Chu, DBA
Dr. Flora Chu is a Professor of Accounting and Finance with over 20 years of teaching and professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial investment, and business capstone instruction. She brings extensive industry expertise in corporate leadership, strategic planning, financial modeling, and financial operations, with a strong focus on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls, revenue recognition, process improvement, and enterprise software implementation and conversion.
Reginald Duhé, Ph.D.
Dr. Reginald V. Duhé is an Adjunct Instructor, executive leader, and marketing consultant with over 20 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit leadership, organizational development, and strategic communications. He currently teaches business marketing, communications, and organizational development at Santa Clara University and the University of California, Berkeley, where he develops curriculum and delivers instruction in strategic branding, consumer science, neuromarketing, entrepreneurship, nonprofit marketing, and social entrepreneurship.

Dr. Mariam Ghazvini is a professional mentor, coach, and educator with extensive experience in leadership development, emotional intelligence, management practices, and human resources. She brings a multidisciplinary background that integrates higher education, counseling, and organizational leadership, with a strong focus on personal and professional growth.
Nicole Goldberg, Ph.D.
Dr. Nicole Dillon Goldberg is an Adjunct Faculty Member / AI Advisory Board with over 15 years of industry and academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Leadership and brings extensive expertise in graduate-level instruction, curriculum design, and online teaching environments. Dr. Goldberg has led enterprise-wide initiatives integrating artificial intelligence into organizational workflows and has designed applied learning experiences that bridge academic research with real-world practice.
Shalini Gopalkrishnan, DBA
Dr. Shalini Gopalkrishnan is an AI Strategist, educator, and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience spanning analytics, mathematics, statistics, technology strategy, and social entrepreneurship. She currently serves as an AI Strategist at San Francisco Bay University (SFBU) and has held extensive academic appointments teaching at all levels from K–12 through doctoral programs. Her academic and professional interests focus on artificial intelligence for social good, analytics, ESG, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and technology-driven social impact.
