All the business faculty members possess the following qualities: advanced degrees earned in business, computer science or mathematics disciplines, work experience relevant to their teaching subjects, and enthusiasm in teaching and helping the students. To increase the students’ learning effectiveness, they bring their real-world experience into the classrooms as well as use case studies to stimulate the students’ minds and exemplify various lecture topics.

Johnathan Mun, Ph.D.

Professor and Chair of Business

Dr. Johnathan Mun is a Professor and Chair of the Business Department with 25 years of industry and academic experience. He has taught at the MBA, M.S., and Ph.D. levels in 10 countries and authored 30 books and 150 academic articles. Dr. Mun holds 13 patents, has consulted for over 50 multinational companies, created 10 software applications, and founded three companies. His research interests include financial analytics, quantitative methods, data science, economics, investment science, simulation, predictive modeling, AI/ML analytics, and optimization.

Professor of Business, Postdoctoral

Cassondra has a diverse background in Business Management, Marketing, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Finance. Cassondra’s expertise includes Supply Chain management, Consumer Behavior, and Cost Accounting. Cassondra’s research interest focuses on consumerism, marketing analytics, consumer behavior, and the fiscal implications of misaligned U.S. apparel sizing standards. Cassondra has over 20 years of professional business experience and 15 years of instruction experience across primary and tertiary education.

Robert Steinberg, M.S. in Computer Science

Robert P. Steinberg Robert has been a value creator, Entrepreneur and Technologist for over 35 years for advanced technology companies such as Zilog Inc, Plexus Computers and Data Pathing (NCR). His primary roles in these companies involved technical marketing and business development for distributive computer systems. In 1987, he became a primary co-founder of IICON Corporation, a company focused on the Human-Machine Interface and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and Defense Markets.

Nik Tehrani, Ph.D.

As an SME/Mentor in high-tech incubation, Dr. Tehrani previously served as a cofounder and VP of Business Development at DynoSense Corp., pioneering at-home vital sign monitoring. He led Savitron, Inc., surpassing growth projections by 30% and expanding marketing channels. As Global Director of Program Management at Sanmina-SCI, Dr. Tehrani's team increased revenue by 30% and achieved 97%+ customer satisfaction.

Jeng-Dau (James) Wu, Ph.D.

Dr. Jeng-Dau James Wu is a Professor of Finance and International Business with more than four decades of teaching, research, and industry experience. He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from Golden Gate University and has taught at numerous institutions, including UC Berkeley Extension, San Jose State University, University of San Francisco, Dominican University of California, City University, and others throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
