Bio
Dr. Shalini Gopalkrishnan is an AI Strategist, educator, and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience spanning analytics, mathematics, statistics, technology strategy, and social entrepreneurship. She currently serves as an AI Strategist at San Francisco Bay University (SFBU) and has held extensive academic appointments teaching at all levels from K–12 through doctoral programs. Her academic and professional interests focus on artificial intelligence for social good, analytics, ESG, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and technology-driven social impact.
Dr. Gopalkrishnan has held faculty and instructional roles at numerous institutions, including Valencia College, Golden Gate University, Rollins College, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, Holy Names University, Stanford Continuing Education, and SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. Her teaching areas include mathematics, statistics, data science, analytics, research methods, and AI-enabled decision-making. In addition to her academic work, she is a founder of multiple ventures, including Metaverse University, Freelancemoms, Lexion Global, and Introspect, and has led initiatives at the intersection of emerging technologies, education, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Gopalkrishnan has also served in advisory and governance roles, including board membership and advisory positions supporting innovation, analytics, and technology education. She has been recognized as an AI changemaker and speaker at national and international forums, including the AI SHOW at ASU+GSV. Her career reflects a strong commitment to using data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to advance inclusive growth, social impact, and responsible innovation.
