Mission

The United Students Federation (USF) serves as the voice of student interests and promotes an enriched university life experience. Our commitment lies in nurturing the growth and development of the diverse student body at San Francisco Bay University through a steadfast dedication to shared governance. We provide and support student services and programs and maintain responsible and transparent use of funding while encouraging external advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities

President: 
Convenes student council meetings collaborate, recommends, and deliberates with SFBU administration on student issues, serves as the official spokesperson for student council, and serves as a student representative of the student body at Academic Committee meetings.

Vice President: 
Chairs special committee meetings and convenes meetings in the absence of the President. Serves as interim President in the event of presidential vacancy.

Secretary: 
Maintains historical files and proposes amendments and changes to policies. Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, manage member attendance, and prepare budget and other official proposals.

Treasurer: 
Creates and manages budget, reviews, and processes funding requests, prepares and maintains reports for the organization's financial status, handles financial transactions, and recommends opportunities for fundraising. Ensures the organization is compliant with institutional, state, and federal regulations

School of Engineering Representative, School of Business Representative, Undergraduate Student Representative: 

Represent their school/organizations at Council Meetings. Disseminate information to their school or organization. Attend all USF meetings and provide updates. Be active role models.
