Wellness Programs & Events

Chew & Chats

The Chew & Chats are monthly informational sessions for faculty and staff on wellness subjects that college students experience. Attendees will obtain valuable information on mental health student issues, as well as gain skills to address wellness concerns, and have opportunities to get their questions answered. Sample topics include addressing anxiety and depression, how to approach someone who may be suicidal, and how to safely refer someone to appropriate services.

Lunch-N-Learns

Join the Office of Disability and Accessibility Services (ODAS) for our monthly, interactive Lunch & Learn series designed specifically for university faculty and staff. Grounded in proactive inclusion and practical application, these informal 1 hour sessions explore real-world strategies for building accessible classrooms, navigating accommodation requests, and dismantling implicit bias in higher education.

Mobile Dental Clinic

The mobile dental clinic is provided twice a year during the fall and spring semesters in partnership with Bay Area Community Health (BACH). Students can get low-cost dental screenings, x-rays, and cleanings during the visit. The mobile dental clinic is located at San Francisco Bay University in the parking lot.

Wellness Fair

The Wellness Fair is an annual event for the campus community to gain awareness of wellness across the eight dimensions: physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, financial, social, environmental, and spiritual. It is designed to build campus community and bring students together in a positive, welcoming space, and to introduce students to campus departments, offices, and services, and outside organizations that support success and well-being.
