In 1987, he became a primary co-founder of IICON Corporation, a company focused on the Human-Machine Interface and Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition (SCADA), and Defense Markets.

As an SME/Mentor in high-tech incubation, Dr. Tehrani previously served as a cofounder and VP of Business Development at DynoSense Corp., pioneering at-home vital sign monitoring. He led Savitron, Inc., surpassing growth projections by 30% and expanding marketing channels. As Global Director of Program Management at Sanmina-SCI, Dr. Tehrani's team increased revenue by 30% and achieved 97%+ customer satisfaction.
